Ziga Jeglic has been suspended for the remainder of the 2018 winter olympics after allegedly failing a drug test.

Information regarding the matter is sparse as the results of the test and Jeglic’s conduct will not be released until after the games have concluded. However, according to the Court of Arbitration for Sport, Jeglic has reportedly accepted the results of the anti-doping violation and will not be appealing the suspension.

The player, as well as the Slovenian Olympic team, are refusing to make any further comment until the investigation is released after the games.

Jeglic is now the third athlete to be suspended from the 2018 Olympics for doping violations.

Kei Sato, a Japanese speed skater, was suspended earlier in the games after failing a drug test. Russian curler Aleksandr Krushelnitckii has also been suspended following the results of a drug test.
