Canadian Screen Week continues as the gala honouring Creative-Fiction Storytelling was held last night in Toronto.
Andrew Phung, star of CBC’s “Kim’s Convenience,” hosted the gala and also took home the award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in the CBC comedy.
CBC proved to dominate the competition once more with ‘Kim’s Convenience” taking one trophy, “Schitt’s Creek” taking two, and “Baroness Von Sketch Show” and “Alias Grace” both taking four. CTV’s “Cardinal” also had a successful night winning five trophies.
